Ida Catherine Quade 87 of Charlotte Hall, Md. Died September 6, 2012 in Charlotte Hall, Md. She was born on April 7, 1925 in St. Mary's County to the late Joseph S. Hammett and Ellen E. Woodburn Hammett.

She is also predeceased by her husband Joseph A. Quade., brothers Daniel and James Hammett, and her sister Helen E. Pilkerton.

She is survived by her children Joseph S. Quade, James V. Quade, Elizabeth A. Robertson, Margaret D. Holand, Robert V. Quade, John G. Quade, Lucy C. Goldsmith, and Donna M. Murphy, sister Bertha C. Quade, 13 grandchildren and 21 great grandchildren.

Ida was a member of the St. Ignatius Catholic Church. She enjoyed sports, fishing, playing with her grandkids and being with her family.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday September 12th at the Arehart-Echols Funeral Home, 211 St. Mary's Ave., La Plata, Md. 20646 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8pm with prayers at 7pm. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday September 13th 10 AM at the St. Ignatius Church, Chapel Pt., Md. Interment to follow at the Trinity Memorial Gardens Waldorf, Md.
