John Clifton Blaine 82 of Upper Marlboro, Md. Died on September 5, 2012 at his home. He was born on August 22, 1930 in Washington, DC to the late William Henry and Anna Clifton Blaine. He is also predeceased by his wife Louise Blaine and his brother Richard Blaine.

He is survived by his 2 Godsons Nino and Louie and his nieces and nephews and many friends.

He worked as a book maker for the Bureau of Printing and Engraving. He was also in the United States Army and he loved animals.

The family will receive friends on Saturday September 8, 2012 from 2 to 5pm with a funeral service at 4 pm at the Arehart-Echols Funeral Home, 211 St. Mary's Ave., La Plata, Md. 20646.

Interment will be held on Friday September 14, 2012 at 2 pm with military honors at the Maryland Veterans Cemetery Cheltenham, Md.
