Grace M. Robey of Pomfret, MD died on August 24, 2012 in Queen Anne County, MD. She was 68 years old.

Mrs. Robey was a retired administrator with the U. S. Coast Guard for 13 years and a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church in La Plata, MD. She left a lasting impression with all who were lucky enough to have met her. She served as a friend and mother figure to many. Always put other people above herself. She was an inspiration to all of us.

Daughter of the late Nicola Marchese and the late Margaret Cecelia Manili Marchese.

Predeceased by her parents.

Survived by her husband of 50 years Robert G. "Bob" Robey, Sr.; two sons Robert (Lisa) Robey, Jr. Of Leesburg, VA and Ronald (Alejandra) Robey of Frederick, MD; two daughters Ronda (Ramzi) Nassib of Ashburn, VA and Robin (Justin) Robey-Porterfield of Leesburg, VA; one aunt Thelma "Aunt Minnie" Errico of Calvert County, MD; eight grandchildren Tony, Brittany, Lindsey, Brandon, Tyler, Bella, Nicholas, and Princeton; and one great-grandchild Emerson.

Visitation: Wednesday, September 5, 2012 from 2-4PM and 6-8PM at Raymond Funeral Chapel (5635 Washington Avenue, La Plata, MD 20646). Mass of Christian Burial: Thursday, September 6, 2012 at 10AM at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, La Plata, MD. Clergy: Fr. Robert Buchmeier. Pallbearers: Anthony Robey, Gene McCandless, Garland Bruce, and David Hooks. Interment: Trinity Memorial Gardens in Waldorf, MD.
