Mark Andrew Sands of Waldorf, MD died on Tuesday, August 28, 2012 at his residence. He was 52 years old.

Mark was a self-employed master carpenter for 35 years.

Son of the living Jack M. Sands and the late Shirley Rhodes Sands.

Predeceased by his mother and a nephew Jeffrey Scott Brown.

Survived by his father Jack M. Sands of Waldorf, MD; one daughter Tiffany M. Sands of Chesapeake Beach, MD; one son Justin M. Sands of Chesapeake Beach, MD; three grandchildren Gavin, Cecelia, and Tristan, all of Chesapeake Beach, MD; two sisters Dawn (Ralph) Johnson of Waldorf, MD and Margie (Jim) Brown of Hughesville, MD; and one brother Bill Rew of VA. Also survived by several nieces and nephews and loving companion of 13 years Connie Vanderpool.

Visitation: Friday, August 31, 2012 from 5-8PM with Funeral Service at 7PM at Raymond Funeral Chapel (5635 Washington Avenue, La Plata, MD 20646). Interment: PRIVATE.
