Mary Blanche Boarman of Cobb Island, MD died on Saturday, July 14, 2012 at her residence. She was 83 years old. Daughter of the late James Abell and the late Mary Davis Abell.

Mrs. Boarman was a homemaker and a member of Holy Ghost Catholic Church Issue in Newburg, MD and was a member of Ladies of Charity at Holy Ghost. She loved reading, needlework, gardening, and enjoyed being a homemaker. She never said a harsh word about anyone. She most enjoyed being with family at holidays and get-togethers.

Predeceased by her parents; her husband Leonard Andrew Boarman; and three brothers James, Joseph, and Frank Abell.

Survived by three daughters Linda (Bob) Garvey of Kingsley, MI, Peggy (Lance) Estevez of Pomfret, MD, and Janet (David) Williams of Newburg, MD; one brother Wilson Abell of Faulkner, MD; six grandchildren: Jesse, Chris, Jen, Leah, Sadie, and Erin; and five great-grandchildren: Shayle, Braden, Tucker, Campbell, and Reese.

Visitation: Wednesday, July 18, 2012 from 5-8PM with Wake Service at 7PM at Raymond Funeral Chapel (5635 Washington Avenue, La Plata, MD 20646). Mass of Christian Burial: Thursday, July 19, 2012 at 11AM at St. Mary's Catholic Church Newport (11555 St. Mary's Church Road, Charlotte Hall, MD 20622). Clergy: Fr. Joseph Kleinstuber. Interment: Church Cemetery.
