Ralph Joseph Hindle, 83 of La Plata, Md. Died July 16, 2012 at Civista Medical Center in La Plata, Md. He was born on April 5, 1929 in Welcome, MD he was the son of the late Arthur Hindle and the late Lillie Mae Wedding-Hindle.

Mr. Hindle was employed for many years at So. Md. Gas of Waldorf as a salesman. He later worked for IGA in La Plata in the produce, dairy and frozen foods departments. He retired and later worked on his favorite hobby of woodworking creating lawn ornaments. His next love was the sport of fishing.

He was the husband of 59 years of the late Mamie Lewis-Hindle.

In addition to his parents and wife, he is preceded in death by his brothers, Earl Hindle, Ray Hindle, Thomas Hindle, Ernest Hindle, Cecil Hindle, Bunny Hindle, Arthur Hindle and sisters, Mary Hindle and Elvie Erwine.

He is survived by his daughter Brenda Spooner and son-in-law Michael Spooner, daughter Linda Hindle and daughter, Pam Keese and son-in-law Bill Keese; sisters Kitty DonBrosky, Hilda Maglitz, Lillian Waugh, Shirley Magline, and Patsy Kruger; and grandchildren, Lori Spooner and Joseph Keese.

Visitation will be held from 2pm to 4pm and 6pm to 8pm with prayers at 7pm on Thursday July 19, 2012 at the Arehart-Echols Funeral Home, La Plata, Md. Mass will be celebrated at 10am on Friday July 20, 2012 at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church, La Plata, Md. The Rev. Robert Buchmeirer will officiate. Interment to follow at the Church Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Matthew Cavegn, Bill Keese, Carl Lockamay, Kip McConnell, Michael Spooner, and Brian Stine.
