Mabel McLaughlin Langley of Waldorf, MD died on Wednesday, July 11, 2012 in St. Leonard, MD. She was 89 years old. Daughter of the late George and Ella Mae McLaughlin.

Mrs. Langley had worked in a straw factory and was a switchboard operator and an accountant in the Washington, DC area. Her interests were photography, sewing, and making jelly.

Predeceased by her parents; her husband James T. Langley; one son Leonard L. Langley; and one sister Virginia Kerge.

Survived by her sister Kathleen Lambert; one son James T. (Patricia) Langley; three daughters Linda R. Kimble, Julia I. (Maurice) Foster, and Ella J. Langley and beloved companion Dennis LaValle. Also survived by 14 grandchildren, 34 great grandchildren, and 4 great-great grandchildren.

Visitation: Tuesday, July 17, 2012 from 11:30AM until time of Funeral Service at 1:30PM at Raymond Funeral Chapel (5635 Washington Avenue, La Plata, MD 20646). Interment: MD Veterans Cemetery in Cheltenham, MD at 3PM.
