Douglas Wayne "Doug" Farrington of Cobb Island, MD died on Friday, July 6, 2012 at his residence. He was 68 years old. Son of the late Wayne Minton Farrington and the late Grace Elizabeth Doss Farrington.

Mr. Farrington was a truck driver for 40 years with Carruth and Sons in Bryantown, MD. He loved fishing, playing dominoes, and holidays with his family. He was a workaholic.

Predeceased by his parents and two late brothers Dean and Dewight Farrington.

Survived by his beloved companion Sue Gaines; one step-daughter Peggy Cornelio of La Plata, MD; two brothers Jerry (Patty) Farrington of NC and Bill Farrington of KS; and one sister Gloria Courtmanche of NC. Also survived by four grandchildren and four great grandchildren.

Funeral services and interment will be private.
