![]() On July 2, 2012, George Terrance Cooper, better known as "Terry" or "Terry Baby," was called home to be with the Lord. He passed at Washington Hospital Center in Washington D.C. Terry was born to George and Shirley Cooper on Sept 15, 1965 in La Plata, MD. He attended Charles County Public Schools and graduated from McDonough High School.
Terry had recently taken computer classes at the College of Southern Maryland, much to his delight he passed with flying colors. Terry worked in maintenance and custodial work. He could do construction, carpentry, brick and lay block. He could tackle almost any job. He loved to garden. He loved his nieces and nephews. He also loved to challenge his niece, Shyrice to basketball. He was also known for cutting his hair everyday and enjoyed cutting others. Terry was studying for his CDL. He is preceded in death by his sister; Victoria Monique Cooper Hill (Beaver). Terry leaves to cherish his memory his father, George Samuel Cooper; mother, Shirley E. Cooper, sister, Sharon Cooper; brother, Ellsworth Gray; two nieces Shyrice Mitchell and Victoria Bell; nephew, Antony Tibbs; a loving godmother, Barbara Cooper; and favorite (great) Uncle Ignatius Cooper and a host of aunts, uncles, relatives and friends. Terry, we will always remember your kind heart and your smile. You will forever remain in our hearts. We thank God for blessing us with you. Your Big Sis will be waiting in heaven with open arms.
