Margaret Elizabeth Gateau of Waldorf, MD died on Monday, June 25, 2012. She was 73 years old. Daughter of the late Joseph Wittier Milstead and the late Emma Virginia Pierce Milstead. Predeceased by her parents; and one late brother Joseph Milstead.

Survived by two daughters, Linda M. (Matthew) Weese of Woodbridge, VA and Brenda L. (Jerry) Dalsey of Waldorf, MD; one brother, Joseph C. Anderson of Chesapeake Beach, MD; and three grandchildren, Katie, Gerard, and Maura Dalsey.

Ms. Gateau was a secretary/administrative assistant with the United States Government for 25 years, mainly working with the Census Bureau and a member of St. Peter's Catholic Church in Waldorf, MD.

She loved bowling, cooking, shopping, tending to her beautiful flower garden and was an avid animal lover/advocate. Her entire life was devoted to her family and she especially enjoyed spoiling her three "precious" grandchildren and beloved poodles.

Visitation: Friday, June 29, 2012 from 5-8PM with Prayer Service at 7PM at Raymond Funeral Chapel (5635 Washington Avenue, La Plata, MD 20646). Mass of Christian Burial: Saturday, June 30, 2012 at 11:30AM at St. Peter's Catholic Church in Waldorf, MD. Clergy: Fr. Zygmunt Kurzawinski. Interment: Resurrection Cemetery (8000 Woodyard Road, Clinton, MD 20735). Pallbearers: Matthew Weese, Jerry Dalsey, Gerard Dalsey, Joseph Anderson, Joey Anderson, and Robert Murray.
