Jerome (Jerry) Andrew Zanelotti, Sr., 74, of White Plains, MD died June 22, 2012 at Washington Hospital Center, Washington, D.C. Born June 11, 1938 in Washington, D.C., he was the son of Jerome L. Zanelotti and Margaret Prestele Zanelotti and was raised by Irving and Lucy Selis.

Jerry was part owner and President of Elec Con Corporation in White Plains, MD. While his children were young he enjoyed working with the Southern Maryland Youth Organization (SMYO) and especially liked to coach softball. Jerry enjoyed fishing, watching the Redskins, horse racing and playing cards. In August, he and wife, Nancy, would have celebrated their fiftieth wedding anniversary. Jerry was also a member of St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Pomfret, MD.

Predeceased by his parents and sister, Barbara Zanelotti, Jerome is survived by his wife, Nancy K. Zanelotti; children, Jerome A. Zanelotti, Jr. (Sandra), Joseph A. Zanelotti, Sr. (Dawn), John A. Zaneloti and Toni M. Kruszka (Steve); sisters "DeeDee" Hoofnagle (Kenneth), Geraldine Kalal (Paul) and Lucy Walsh (Jack); grandchildren, Curt and Gina Zanelotti, Samantha and Joseph Zanelotti; Bryan and Anthony Zanelotti and Vincent Kruszka.

The family will receive friends for Jerry's Life Celebration on Thursday, June 28, 2012 from 5:00 - 8:00p.m. at Brinsfield-Echols Funeral Home, P.A., 30195 Three Notch Rd., Charlotte Hall, MD 20622. A service will be held at 7:00p.m. Rev. Peter Alliata will officiate.
