![]() William "Billy" Harry Lynch, 67, of Hughesville, MD, passed away at Washington Hospital Center on June 8, 2012. He was born in Washington, DC on November 20, 1944. Billy was the son of Blanche E. (Hamilton) Simmons of Waldorf, MD.
Billy enjoyed hunting, crabbing, fishing, and buying & selling used cars. He loved talking to people. Billy is survived by his loving wife, Brenda Mae Lynch of Hughesville, MD; his mother, Blanche E. Simmons of Waldorf, MD; his four daughters, Christine Murphy (Bobby), Rose Burke (James), Kelly Lynch, and Tracy M. Johnson (Tracy A.); his brothers, Thomas Lynch and Charles Lynch; his sisters, Laura Windsor, Frances Sandell, Diane Fitzgerald, and Debbie Simmons; his 8 grandchildren, Brenda Reigle, Barbara Hamilton, James Burke, Tonya Sorrels, Megan Johnson, Timothy Johnson, Samantha Kayser, and Jessie Johnson; and his 8 great-grandchildren, Anthony Reigle, Nicholas Hamilton, Jr., Joshua Reigle, Savannah Sorrels, Nathan Hamilton, Kaylah Burke, Noah Hamilton, and Andrew Sorrels. Family and friends will be received for Billy's Life Celebration on Friday, June 15, 2012 from 2-4PM and from 6-8PM, with family sharing beginning at 7PM, at Brinsfield-Echols Funeral Home, P.A., 30195 Three Notch Road, Charlotte Hall, MD 20622. There will be a Funeral Service on Saturday, June 16, 2012, 11AM, here at Brinsfield-Echols. Rev. Fred Williams will officiate. Interment will immediately follow to Trinity Memorial Gardens, 3221 Mattawoman-Beantown Road, Waldorf, MD 20601. Pallbearers will be James Burke, Timothy Johnson, Jessie Johnson, Nick Hamilton, Stephen Sorrels, Vince Windsor, and William Windsor.
