Very peacefully, at St. Mary's Hospital, Leonardtown, Maryland, on Friday, June 29, 2007, the Lord gently closed the eyes of Martin Randell "Randy" Holt., of Charlotte Hall, Maryland.

Randy was born on May 24, 1946, in Baltimore County, Maryland to the late James Dudley Holt and Alice Elizabeth Holley Holt.

He is survived by three brothers, Joseph H. Holt (Dorothy), Lawrence S. Holt (Gwendora), William H. Holt (Saundra); five sisters, Margaret Theresa Countiss, Anna V. Dodson, Dorothy Dotson (Thomas), Rose Eleanor Holland, and Cecelia Wardrick (Vernon), including a host of nieces and nephews, family and friends, and a special friend Bennie. Randy is preceded in death by his parents, one brother James D. Holt, Jr., and one sister, Mary Blanche Stewart (George).

His Viewing and Funeral were held on Friday, July 6, 2007, at the Immaculate Conception Church, Old Village Road, Mechanicsville, Maryland. The Viewing began at 9:30 a.m. Services followed at 11:00 am. His Interment is in the Queen of Peace Cemetery. Arrangements were entrusted to Adams Funeral Home, Aquasco, Maryland.
