Michael Donnavon "Mikey" Tabor, Jr. of White Plains, MD died on Wednesday, May 2, 2012 at Civista Medical Center in La Plata, MD. He was 30 years old.

Michael was an elevator mechanic with Otis Elevators for five years and a member of Our Lady Help of Christians Catholic Church in Waldorf, MD.

He was a devoted father, son, brother, and friend. He loved being at the beach, fishing, riding motorcycles, and being outdoors. He was an avid NASCAR fan.

Son of the living Michael D. Tabor, Sr., and Sharon Regina Ferris Tabor Survived by his parents; his beloved companion Tammy Gonzalez; one son, Austin D. Tabor of White Plains, MD; one daughter, Brianna K. Tabor of White Plains, MD; grandmother, Betty Lou Tabor; and three sisters, Christina M. (Michael) Lyon of Welcome, MD, Jennifer R. (Adam) Kolstrom of Welcome, MD, and Heather R. (David) Bastain of Welcome, MD. Also survived by three nieces and three nephews.

Visitation: Thursday, May 10, 2012 from 5-8PM with Wake Service at 7PM at Raymond Funeral Chapel, 5635 Washington Avenue, La Plata, MD 20646. Mass of Christian Burial: Friday, May 11, 2012 at 11AM at Our Lady Help of Christians Catholic Church in Waldorf, MD. Clergy: Fr. Alain Colliou. Pallbearers: Michael Lyon, Adam Kolstrom, David Bastain, Mason Kolstrom, and Chase Kolstrom. Interment: Heritage Memorial Cemetery in Waldorf, MD.
