Cynthia "Cindy" Catherine Osterman, 50, of Leonardtown, formerly of Bladensburg, Maryland died peacefully on April 26, 2012, in Leonardtown, MD. Born on September 30, 1961 in Cheverly, MD, she was the daughter of the late Clyde Ellsworth and Ada Veronica (Beall) Amman.

Cindy is survived by her sons: James and Caleb Osterman of Leonardtown, MD. Her siblings: Alma Wilde of Churchton, MD., Joseph Ammann of Bushwood, MD., Diane Ammann and Aloysius Ammann both of Leonardtown, MD., as well as 28 nieces and nephews, 43 great nieces and nephews, and 4 great great nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her siblings; Ginny Radcliffe, Bobby Ammann, and Patti Shelton.

Cindy moved from Prince George's County to St. Mary's County in 1972, and graduated from Leonardtown High School in 1980. She was a homemaker and enjoyed; knitting, reading, and going to the beach with her boys.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday, May 2, 2012 from 9:30 AM – 10:30 AM in Faith Bible Church, Mechanicsville, MD, where a service will be held at 10:30 AM with Pastor Rob McNutt officiating. Interment will follow in Fort Lincoln Cemetery, Brentwood, MD. Pallbearers will be: Timmy Ryce, Michael Van Ryswick, Sr., Leonard Wathen, Jr., Mickey Ryce, Wayne Van Ryswick, and Steven Van Ryswick.
