![]() On March 27, 2012 Dennis Johnny Thompson was granted access to his final path of life, he bravely accepted, leaving everything behind, and became one of the Elite, in Father God's Heavenly kingdom. Dennis was born on Mar 16, 1959 to Dennis and the late Mary Thompson. He was their first born and was educated in the Charles County public school system.
Dennis was an avid race car fan, and built his first race car at a very young age. He also enjoyed street racing. Dennis became a business owner at a very young age as well, Dennis Auto and Transmission, in Waldorf, MD. He later sold that business, and decided his real passion was playing pool and seemed to master the game. You could find him playing pool in his free time, and eventually he found he enjoyed it so much he decided to work at the Billards Pool Hall. He would later become a business owner again in partnership with his brother, John and they created Thompson Brothers Lawn Services. However, he still found time for playing pool, right up until his acceptance was granted to the Elite of family and friends in Gods garden. His memories will be cherished, by his daughters Denise and Ashley Riley, Katrina and Dinette Thompson, his father, James Dennis Thompson, brothers John, Howard, Daniel (Karla), Mark, Eugene, Joseph Thompson, sisters, Joan Wallace, Connie Simms Mary, Viola, Christine Thompson, very special friend, Selina Smith, grandchildren: Kimaya, Kamari Riley, Datrina, Ronald, Demetrius, Aunts Dorothy Watts (Ray), Pauline Mason (Ronnie), Shirley ford, Cecil, John, Eugene (Joyce) and Francis, Beverly Dorsey; close family friends: Towanda Taylor and Terry Hansen. Dennis also has a host of extended family and friends. Dennis was preceded in death by his mother Mary H. Thompson, brother Kenneth Thompson, grand parents Viola Johnson and Sylvester Briscoe, brother-in- law, Raymond H. Wallace Jr, aunt Rosalie Proctor, uncle, Junior Ford. His viewing will be held on Saturday, April 7th, 9:00am until Service 10:30am, Chapel of THORNTON Funeral Home, P.A., 3439 Livingston Road, Indian Head, MD 20640.
