Pauline Elizabeth Settle age 86 of Waldorf, Md. died on March 17, 2012.
She was born on August 20, 1925 in Washington, DC to the late Grover Cleveland and Annie Barbara Robey.

She is also predeceased by her husband who she married on May 17, 1947 Marvin Brown Settle, Sr., daughter Sharon Lee Starcher and 13 brothers and sisters.

She is survived by her children Marvin Brown Settle, Jr. and his wife Reena of Augusta, GA, Wayne Alan Settle and his wife Linda of Greensboro, NC, Ronald James Settle of Alexandria, VA, Marlene Elizabeth Smith and her husband Bill of Waldorf, Md, 10 grandchildren , 18 great grandchildren, sisters Helen Bradhurst, Josephine Martin and Genevieve Cecilia Ahern.

Pauline worked as an operator for the C & P Telephone Company. She is a member of the 1st Baptist Church of Waldorf and enjoyed crocheting, cooking and bingo.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday March 20th from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8pm at the Arehart-Echols Funeral Home, 211 St. Mary's Ave., La Plata, Md. 20646. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday 11am at the 1st Baptist Church of Waldorf Pastor Wayne Kempson will officiate. Interment will follow at the Trinity Memorial Gardens Waldorf, Md.
