On Wednesday, May 30, 2007, Aubray S. Johnson of Nanjemoy, Maryland quietly entered eternal life at Providence Hospital, Washington, D.C.

Aubray was born on June 25, 1955 to the late Robert and the late Gertrude Johnson. He was educated in the public schools of Charles County, Maryland and later became a cook.

In addition to his parents, Aubray is preceded in death by his nephews, Gary and David Johnson and Spencer Taylor.

Left to cherish his memory is his daughter, Kim Johnson, sons, Dwayne Johnson and Maurice Neal, grandchildren DaeShaun Johnson and Coviaon Shorter, sisters, Elizabeth Golden and Judy Jacks, brothers, Spencer, Gilbert, and Paul Johnson, aunts, Alice Wilson, Pearline Dunnington, Henietta Warren, and Marie Keys, nieces, Genell Reeves, Gertrude Lawson (Gertie), Donette (Net-Net) , Denise, Lisa, Ebony, Ernik, and Brittany Johnson, nephews, Harry, Larry, Ricky, Terry, Toma, Phillip, Daniel, and Darrell Johnson, and Garland (Donald) Lee. Also surviving are devoted friends, Tyrone Price and Mr. and Mrs. Barbour and a host of other relatives and friends.

Viewing and funeral will be held on Friday, June 8th from 9:00a.m. until services 10:00a.m. at the Thornton Funeral Home Chapel, Rte 227, Pomonkey, Maryland. Interment will be held in the Oak Grove Missionary Baptist Church, Grayton, Maryland.
