Ilah Jean Russell, 65 of California, MD died March 1, 2012 at her residence. Born July 11, 1946 in Leonardtown, Maryland, she was the daughter of T. Michael Lang, Sr. and Catherine A. (Jurovaty) Lang.

She enjoyed reading, watching movies and picking crabs. She was a huge fan of Elvis Presley and Michael Bolton. She loved her grandchildren very much.

Ilah is survived by her children, Katherine Woodard of Leonardtown and John Woodard (Jennifer) of Great Mills; her grandchildren, Melanie Woodard of Ridge and Ian and Hope Woodard of Great Mills. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Francis Lewis Russell.

Family will receive friends on Thursday, March 8, 2012 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the Brinsfield Funeral Home, 22955 Hollywood Road, Leonardtown, MD. Prayers will be recited at 7 p.m. Interment will be private.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the Children's National Medical Center, 111 Michigan Avenue NW, Washington, DC 20009.
