Danny Lee Murphy, II, 29, of Mechanicsville, MD, died March 2, 2012 at his residence. Born December 12, 1982 in Washington, D.C., he was the son of Bob Leo Murphy, Jr. and Debra Jean Decatur.

Danny was a plumber by trade. He enjoyed watching horror films and loved spiders and snakes as a hobby. Danny was the kind of person who was always willing to help out anyone who was in need, even it if meant shorting himself.

Predeceased by his father, Danny is survived by his mother, Debra Jean Brady; stepfather, Kevin R. Brady, Sr.; grandmother, Mary Rosalie Pilkerton; siblings, Bob Leo Murphy, III, Billie Jo Murphy, John Steven Murphy, Kevin R. Brady, Jr., Jason Bernard Brady and Nancy K. Price; aunt, Lynn Reduzzi and uncles, Donny Murphy and Mark Decatur.

The family will receive friends for Danny's Life Celebration on Wednesday, March 7, 2012 from 2:00 - 4:00 and 6:00 - 8:00p.m. at the Brinsfield-Echols Funeral Home, P.A., 30195 Three Notch Rd., Charlotte Hall, MD. A funeral service will be held on Thursday, March 8, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. at Brinsfield-Echols. The Rev. Keith Corrick will officiate. Interment will follow at Trinity Memorial Gardens, Waldorf, MD.
