On Saturday, April 21, 2007, Michael D. Dorsey of LaPlata, Maryland suddenly departed this life for one eternal at the Civista Medical Center in LaPlata, MD.

Michael was born on June 13, 1988 in La Plata, MD to Rosslyn King and Elroy Dorsey.

Michael was educated in the Charles County School System. He enjoyed playing basketball and his PlayStation 2. He also loved listening to music.

He leaves a legacy of loving memories to not only his parents, Rosslyn and Elroy, but also to his brothers, Donzell Dorsey and Tyrell Bivins, grandmothers, Mary V. Clark and Doriscine King, grandfathers, Francis Dorsey, Lewis Smith and Spencer Hill, Sr., aunts, Dorene Hill (Neice), Rita Dorsey, and Alice Dorsey-King, uncles, Spencer Hill, Jr. (Nookie), John Barnes, Jr. (Woochie) and John Bowman (Wink), a special friend, Alphonso Thomas, and a host of other relatives and friends.

His viewing will take place on Friday, April 27th, 10:00a.m. until Mass of Christian Burial 11:00a.m. at Holy Ghost Catholic Church, Issue, MD. Interment Church Cemetery. Arrangements entrusted to Thornton Funeral Home, P.A., Pomonkey, MD.
