Arthur Eugene Beauvais, 53, of Hughesville, MD, passed away at home on January 14, 2012. He was born on January 19, 1958 in West Springfield, MA.

Art was the son of Arthur Eugene Beauvais, Sr. and the late Louise Messier La Frenaye.

Mr. Beauvais had served in the Army and in the Navy for a combined 26 years. He had retired from the navy with full benefits and had received many medals of commendation and achievement for his outstanding service in the US Navy and joint work with the Marine Corps.

He was currently employed at Civista Medical Center as the security Manager. His attention to detail and strong work ethic was his hallmark. He was well respected by his officers and co-workers. He brought a sense of calm and order to difficult situations and provided alternative processes when needed for a better working environment.

Art played as hard as he worked. He had a passion for music and loved to play the guitar. He had recorded several songs and had recently submitted original works for publishing. He was the lead guitarist in the band "One night Stand" and looked forward to playing out in the community.

Aside from his mother, Art is predeceased by his brother, Joe Beauvais and his father-in-law, Charles D. Hayes.

Art is survived by his loving wife, Gloriana Beauvais; his father Arthur E Beauvais Sr.; his step mother Janet A. Beauvais; his 2 sons, Marcel Beauvais (Kerri) and Justin Corbett; his daughter, Sarah Beauvais; his sister, Annette Warren-Cooley; his grandchild Caden Beauvais; his mother-in-law, Carleen Hayes; and many other relatives and friends.

Arrangements are being handled by Brinsfield-Echols Funeral Home, P.A., 30195 Three Notch Road, Charlotte Hall, MD, 20622.

The family will receive friends for a Memorial Gathering and Service at a later date.
