Whalen, Michelle Ann (Age 32) of La Plata, Maryland.

Michelle Ann Whalen entered into eternal rest in the presence of God on Monday, January 9, 2012 in King George, Virginia at the tender age of 32.

She was born on June 15, 1979 at Civista Medical Center in La Plata, Maryland to James Robert Whalen and Betty Ann Whalen (Lancaster). Michelle was also raised with the help of her loving grandparents, George J. Rosier and the late Ruth E. Rosier.

She was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church in La Plata, MD. Michelle graduated from La Plata High School in 1997.

In addition to her parents and grandfather she leaves to cherish many joyous memories, her three loving children; Tyrell Gaines, Nicole Gaines and John Barbour III, sister; Tarsha Harper-Akinsowon, brothers; James Spencer Whalen and James Michael Whalen, one nephew and a host of relatives and friends.

Viewing at 9:30am until Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30am on Saturday, January 14, 2012 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 201 St. Mary's Avenue, La Plata, Maryland. Interment, Church Cemetery.
