Kennyth Arthur McNey of Waldorf, MD died on Thursday, December 29, 2011 at Civista Medical Center in La Plata, MD. He was 73 years old. Son of the late George Michael McNey and the late Frances Louise Green McNey.

Mr. McNey was a Pump Operator for 35 years with Blue Plains (WSSC) Treatment Plant and a member of Our Lady Help of Christians Catholic Church in Waldorf, MD. He was an avid sports fan who enjoyed the Redskins and the Capitals. He loved bowling, fishing, and crabbing and was a Bingo Caller at St. Peter's Church in Waldorf, MD. In later years, he worked part-time for Ken Dixon Chevrolet and was known as a very giving person who enjoyed being with family.

Predeceased by his parents; one late son, Kennyth Arthur McNey, Jr.

Survived by his wife of 53 years, Alice Windsor McNey; one son, Christopher S. McNey of Hagerstown, MD; two daughters, Elizabeth F. (James) Truckle of Waldorf, MD and Melissa K. (Robert) Corcoran of Waldorf, MD; one sister, Kay L. (Jeffrey) Kitts of Indian Head, MD; five grandchildren, Stephanie, Jamie, Jake, Alissa, and Kendrick.

Visitation: Saturday, January 7, 2012 from 2-5PM with Funeral Service at 4:30PM at Raymond Funeral Chapel (5635 Washington Avenue, La Plata, MD 20646) Clergy: Rev. Denise Cabana.

Interment: At a later date at Washington National Cemetery.
