Mr. White was a Retired Accountant with U.S. Government. He was a Veteran of the United States Army, having served in the Korean War. He was a member of Trinity Episcopal Church in Upper Marlboro, MD. He was also a member of the American Legion, Post #206 in Chesapeake Beach, MD, the National Railway Historical Society, Washington D.C. Chapter, and the Southern Maryland Widowed Seniors Club.

He was son of the late John J. White and the late Susie Fewkes White. He was predeceased by his parents.

He is survived by his wife, Pauline Dillon White; one brother Theodore White of Culpepper, VA; one sister, Mary W. Gutowski of Farmville, VA; and a host of nieces and nephews.

A Visitation will take place on Tuesday, December 20, 2011 from 2- 4pm and 6-8pm with American Legion Services at 7pm at Raymond Funeral Chapel, 5635 Washington Avenue, La Plata, MD 20646. A Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, December 20, 2011 at 3pm at Raymond Funeral Chapel. Clergy will be the Rev. Martha Bonwitt. Interment will follow on Wednesday, December 21, 2011 at 10am at Maryland Veterans Cemetery, Cheltenham, MD. Honorary Pallbearers will be the United States Army Honor Guard.
