Jerry Randall Moore of Waldorf, Maryland, died at his home on Friday, December 9, 2011. He was 66 years old. Born on March 4, 1945 in Newhall, West Virginia, he was the son of Thelma Geneva Myers Moore and the late Orville William Moore.

Mr. Moore was a Pipe Fitter for 30 years at G.S.A. (U.S. Government), a veteran of the United States Army serving during Vietnam, and a member of the Moose Lodge. He loved fishing, hunting, gardening, and family gatherings, especially his children and grandchildren.

In addition to his father, Mr. Moore was preceded in death by three brothers, Norman Raymond Moore, Rodney Jack Moore, and Tommy Moore; one sister, Dreama Sue Shuman; and one brother- in-law, Vern Clark.

In addition to his mother, he is survived by his wife of 43 years, Linda Lou Robbins Moore; three daughters, Kelly Burrows and her husband Rupert, Ginger Lease, and Donna Carpenter; three brothers, Michael Moore and his wife Gwen, Dennis Moore and his wife Glo, and Jeffrey Moore; five sisters, Snookie Froman and her husband Earl, Bo Eaker and her husband Nick, Zona Virden and her husband Don, Nancy Love, and Connie Clark; seven grandchildren, Kristin Moy and her husband Brandon, Katelynn Heath, Sarah Carpenter, Aaron Carpenter, Anthony Carpenter, David Poole, and Brandon Burrows; and one great-grandchild, Keagan Breann Carpenter. Also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Visitation on Monday, December 12, 2011 from 11AM until Funeral Service at 1PM at Raymond Funeral Chapel 5635 Washington Avenue, La Plata, MD 20646 with the Rev. Paul Arcand, II officiating. Interment to follow at Trinity Memorial Gardens, Waldorf, MD. Pallbearers: David Poole, Brandon Burrows, Brandon Moy, Anthony Carpenter, Rupert Burrows, and Dennis Moore.
