Ms. Deakins enjoyed Christmas time and decorating the house for the holidays. She also enjoyed collecting antiques and collectibles. She was employed at the Old Country Buffet.

She is survived by her husband Larry, her mother Rosio Martin, 2 sons, 2 step-sons, a daughter, a step-daughter, a brother, a son-in-law, and a daughter-in-law. She also leaves behind 9 grandchildren.

Arrangements were handled by the Arehart-Echols Funeral Home in La Plata, MD.
