Ellen Lucille Jenkins Talbert Wolfman, 91, on November 15, 2011, of Hollywood, MD, passed peacefully at Washington Hospital Center.

Her long walk in a life filled with faith, love, and charity was finished.

Born to the late Clarence N. and Jessie Jenkins, Lucille was preceded in death by her husband George Herbert Talbert, Jr., and her husband Major Milton Wolfman. She was also preceded in death by her son, George Herbert Talbert, III, and siblings Mable Steele and Roy Jenkins.

Lucille was former teacher in Prince George's County Public Schools, where she brought the joy of reading to many young people. She remained an active church leader and volunteer, and shared the love of the Lord with those around her.

Lucille is survived by two sons, Norman Wallace Talbert and Thomas Anthony Talbert, one daughter, Ursula Sherree Wolfman, her sisters, Mary Ann Lucas, Gladys Skowronck, Eloise Lozupone, 6 grandchildren, and 8 great grandchildren, as well as a host of relatives and friends who will miss her dearly and hold her memory lovingly in their hearts.

A Memorial Service will be held Tuesday, December 13th, at 11:00 am at the Trinity Episcopal Church, Trinity Church Rd., Charlotte Hall, MD. Interment will be private.
