Mrs. Williams was a homemaker and of the Baptist faith. She was a volunteer for the Women's Clubs with the United States Army. In her early years, she sold real estate in San Antonio, TX and worked in retail as a bookkeeper.

Daughter of the late Jacob Oceola Peck and the late Minnie Belle Whitlock Peck.

Predeceased by her parents; her husband, Col. Jay Bass Williams, JR (United States Army - RET.); five late brothers; and five late sisters.

Survived by one daughter, Jaylene Dixon of Lusby, MD and two grandchildren, Wesley and Amanda Holevinski.
