Jessica was a Homemaker and a 2006 graduate of Westlake High School. She enjoyed karaoke, playing darts, and a music lover. She most enjoyed being at home with her children and family.

Daughter of the living John Franklin Fort and the living Julie Lynn Haiss.

Survived by her parents; her husband, David Michael Bateman; one son, Anthony Bateman of Lothian, MD; two daughters, Brooke Marie Bateman of Lothian, MD and Cassidy Rose Fort of Waldorf, MD; five brothers, Kevin Wayne Fort and his wife Sarah of La Plata, MD, John Ashton Fort and his wife Melissa of Mechanicsville, MD, John Allen Williams and his wife Michelle of Cockeysville, MD, Daniel Stephen Williams of Towson, MD, and Jacob Nathaniel Haiss of Waldorf, MD; paternal grandmother, Norma Fort of MI and maternal grandfather, Arnold T. Gatton of Benedict, MD.

Visitation: Saturday, October 22, 2011 from 9AM until service time at 11AM at Raymond Funeral Chapel, 5635 Washington Avenue, La Plata, MD 20646. Clergy: Rev. Dennis Gilligan. Interment: Heritage Memorial Cemetery, 13472 Poplar Hill Road, Waldorf, MD 20601. Pallbearers: Mike Bateman, Jacob Haiss, John and Kevin Fort, and Daniel and John Williams.
