Mr. Duke was a self-employed entrepreneur and a Veteran of the United States Navy, having served during the Vietnam era. He loved to shoot pool - shot on many leagues and won numerous tournaments. He was a partner of Cell Phone Guys (business) and was a DJ for many years. He was a proud father of three and married for 39 years.

Son of the late Willis A. Duke and the late Marie Etta McKnight.

Predeceased by his parents; and one son, Joel Lance Patrick Duke.

Survived by his wife of 39 years, Susan Duke; two sons, Anthony Joseph Glenn Duke and Jason Edward Alton Duke; and two sisters, Sandra Diane Dixon of Pensacola, FL and Gerry Davis and her husband Joe Davis of Virginia. Also survived by eight grandchildren.

Visitation: PRIVATE. Funeral Service: Thursday, October 20, 2011 at 1PM at MD Veterans Chapel (11301 Crain Highway, Cheltenham, MD 20623) Clergy: Rev. Marvin Harris. Interment: MD Veterans Cemetery.
