Hilda Munayer, 71, of Waldorf, MD, died September 14, 2011, at Virginia Hospital Center in Arlington, VA.

Mrs. Munayer was a homemaker and a founding member of St. Thomas Orthodox Church in Waldorf, MD. She loved needlepoint, arts and crafts, her church, and her grandkids. She was a pet lover and loved her dog Gizmo.

Born November 29, 1939, in Jerusalem, she is survived by her daughter, Marilyn and her husband Brent Boswell of Waldorf, MD; sister, Mary Munayer of Jerusalem; three grandchildren, Brianna Brooke, Alexis Boswell, and Brent Boswell, Jr.

Visitation will be Wednesday, September 21, 2011, from 2-4PM and 6-8PM at St. Thomas Orthodox Church, 4419 Leonardtown Road, Waldorf, MD 20601. Funeral Service will be Thursday, September 22, 2011, at 11AM at St. Thomas Orthodox Church. Father Joseph Edgington will officiate. Pallbearers will be Karoly David, Brent Boswell, Fred Boswell, Rick Boswell, and Kevin Dent.
