Mrs. Cheslosky was a homemaker and a mother of three and lived in Rockville until her children finished high school. She was then employed as a Caterer with Ridgewells, working at the White House, Embassies, State Department, and art galleries. She and her husband, Ernie, retired to Kent Island, MD. Betty was a member of the Senior Plus Program at the Richard Clark Senior Center in La Plata and was the "Social Butterfly" of the group. Everyone enjoyed her humor and antics as the leader of the group. Her passion was playing Bingo, especially at the American Legion Post in La Plata.

Daughter of the late Francis D. Chaplinsky and the late Mary Chemohowsky Chaplinsky.

Predeceased by her parents; her husband, Ernest Joseph Cheslosky; her eldest son, Michael E. Cheslosky, and her son-in- law, Daniel F. Wallingsford; and all of her brothers and sisters.

Survived by one daughter, Christine Cheslosky Wallingsford of Port Tobacco, MD; one son, Mark (Linda) Cheslosky; grandchildren, Adrianna and Mackensie Cheslosky, and Christopher (Lindsay) Cheslosky; and one great-grandson, Cayden Cheslosky.

Visitation: Thursday, September 15, 2011 from 2-4PM and 6-8PM with Wake Service at 7PM at Raymond Funeral Chapel, 5635 Washington Avenue, La Plata, MD 20646. Interment: Friday, September 16, 2011 at 10AM at MD Veterans Cemetery, Cheltenham, MD. Clergy: Fr. John Reutemann.
