![]() Patrick Brent Shymansky, 57 of Charlotte Hall formerly of Cobb Island passed away on September 8, 2011 at Civista Medical Center in La Plata, MD from a long battle of Cancer. Patrick was born on March 13, 1954 at Physician Memorial Hospital in La Plata, MD. He was the son of the late Joseph L. and Frances E. Shymansky.
Patrick worked as a Floral Designer all of his life and created beautiful floral arrangements for weddings, funerals, and special occasions. He is survived by his Step-Mother Irene F. Shymansky, Brothers: JB, Bernie, Mike and Mickey Shymansky, and Mike Cox; Sisters: Joellen Lawman, Angel Hindle, Renea Shymansky and Barbara Mebane; Brother-in-laws: Buddy Hindle, Billy Lawman and Bob Mebane; Sister-in-laws: Sandy Cox and Jennifer Shymansky. Nephews: BJ, John, Jr., and MyKyle Shymansky, Will and Joey Lawman, Brant Godwin, Tyler and Tanner Cox; Neices: Tiana Stone, Katie Godwin, Ashley Cox, Mychelle, Myranda and MyKenna Shymansky: Great Nephews Michael St. Clair, and Collin Lawman, Great Neices: Jordyn Shymansky, Isabella Stone, Marleigh and Amelia Lawman; Godmother Ann Roberts, friend Clarence Howe and many cousins. Visitation will be held at Arehart-Echols Funeral Home in La Plata on Thursday, September 15, 2011 from 2:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. with Catholic Prayers at 7:00 p.m. A Christian Mass will be celebrated on Friday, September 16, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. at Holy Ghost Catholic Church in Issue, MD with Christian Burial at Holy Ghost Cemetery. Pallbearers will be: BJ Shymansky, John Shymansky, Jr., Will Lawman, Joey Lawman, Brant Godwin and Lloyd Welch. Honorary Pallbearers will be: Tyler Cox and Tanner Cox. Contributions in lieu of flowers can be made to Hospice of Charles County. Arrangements provided by Arehart-Echols Funeral Home. |
