Tony Pashkevich, 82, of Cobb Island, MD, died August 31, 2011, at Civista Medical Center, La Plata, MD. Born October 13, 1928, in Johnstown, PA, he was the son of the late Anna Petranick and the late Constantine Pashkevich.

Mr. Pashkevich was owner/operator of Tony Pashkevich Welding, a charter member of Piledrivers Local 2311, an accomplished craftsman, metal fabricator, boat and home builder. He was a veteran of the U.S. Marines.

Predeceased by his parents; wife, Elizabeth Pashkevich; brothers, Michael Pashkevich; sister, Mary Moulton.

Survived by his sons, Gary Pashkevich, Christopher Pashkevich and Scott Pashkevich; best friend and care giver for the past 15 years, Dorothy Roberts; brother, Paul Pashkevich. Also survived by eight grandchildren and one great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be Thursday, September 8, 2011, from 5PM to 8PM with a memorial service at 7PM at Raymond Funeral Chapel, 5635 Washington Avenue, La Plata, MD 20646. Rev. Joseph Foster will officiate. Burial will take place on Friday, September 9, 2011, at 10AM at Maryland Veterans Cemetery, Cheltenham, MD.
