Mr. Cargill was a Heavy Equipment Operator for various contractors and a member of Pisgah United Methodist Church. He enjoyed relaxing at home, working around the house, and watching wrestling on T.V. He was always working.

Son of the late Louis Henry Cargill and the late Margaret Elizabeth Lucas Cargill.

Predeceased by his parents; and one daughter-in-law, Theresa Cargill.

Survived by his wife of 57 years, Mary Viola Cargill and two sons, Billy (Temple) DeSales Cargill of Bryans Road, MD and Russell Cargill of Indian Head, MD. Also survived by 5 grandchildren, Nate, Nick, and Alissa Cargill and Joey and April Torbic and 4 great- grandchildren.

Visitation: Tuesday, September 6, 2011 from 2-4PM and 6-8 PM with Prayer Service at 7PM at Raymond Funeral Chapel, 5635 Washington Avenue, La Plata, MD 20646. Funeral Service: Wednesday, September 7, 2011 at 12 Noon at Raymond Funeral Chapel. Clergy: Rev. Kenneth Bowen. Pallbearers: Russell Cargill, Nicholas Cargill, Nate Cargill, Joe Torbie, Jr., Matthew Thompson, and Tommy Wood. Interment: Wednesday, September 7, 2011 at Trinity Memorial Gardens, Waldorf, MD.
