Thomas John "T. J." Simpson, 34, of Charlotte Hall, MD, died August 22, 2011, at Southern Maryland Hospital, Clinton, MD. Born March 1, 1977, in La Plata, MD, he was the son of William Charles Simpson and Donna Marie Ullman Simpson.

Mr. Simpson was an HVAC Installer for the past five years with Dick's AC and Heating in Ft. Washington, MD. He was a 1996 graduate of Westlake High School and had been employed with the TWI Warehouse in White Plains for ten years. He loved hunting, tractor pulls, farming, racing cars especially his old John Deere tractor. He enjoyed being with his nieces, nephews, brothers and sisters and always teasing his family. He was looking forward to the birth of his son.

Survived by his parents; wife, Debra Ann Pilkerton Simpson; son on the way, Thomas J. Simpson, Jr.; brothers, Robert M. Simpson and his wife Rhonda of White Plains, MD; James E. Simpson of Golden Beach, MD; William Charles Simpson and his wife Bobbie of White Plains, MD; sisters, Hannah A. Bearden and her husband Robert of Hughesville, MD; Dana C. Simpson of King George, VA.

Visitation will be Friday, August 26, 2011, from 5PM to 8PM at Raymond Funeral Chapel, 5635 Washington Avenue, La Plata, MD. Wake service will begin at 7PM with Rev. Johnnie Barnes officiating. Mass of Christian Burial will be Saturday, August 27, 2011, at 11AM at St. Joseph's Catholic Church, Pomfret, MD. Fr. Mark Smith will officiate. Interment will take place in the church cemetery. Pallbearers will be Justin Pickeral, Christopher Gordon, Arthur Simpson, Francis Simpson, James Simpson and Scottie Scott. Honorary Pallbearer will be Walter Ullman.
