Clara Louise Young, 79 of Lexington Park, MD died August 16, 2011 at St. Mary's Hospital. Born December 4, 1931 in Maryland, she was the daughter of the late John Henry Young and Maria Louise (Trent) Young. Clara was a homemaker.

Clara is survived by her children, Harold D. Young of Great Mills, MD, Ruby A. Baltimore of Charles County, MD, Veronica Miles of Lusby, MD, and George Young of Bowie, MD. She is also survived by many grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews, other family members and friends.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her children, Florence Maddox and James Stewart, Jr. and siblings, Mary Catherine Gordon, Agnes C. Young, Elizabeth Curtis, Mary Theresa Miles, John Henry Young, Jr., James R. Young, Sr. and George F. Young.

Family will receive friends on Sunday, August 21, 2011 from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. in the Brinsfield Funeral Home, 22955 Hollywood Road, Leonardtown, MD 20650. Prayers will be recited at 7:00 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, August 22, 2011 at 10:00 a.m. at St. John Francis Regis Catholic Church, Hollywood, MD. Interment will follow in Charles Memorial Gardens, Leonardtown, MD.
