Royer "Roy" Edward Ridgeway, Jr., 28 of Mechanicsville, MD, died suddenly on Sunday, August 14, 2011 in West Virginia. Born on December 28, 1982 in Prince George's County, he was the son of Edward J. Ridgeway and Teresa Babb Ridgeway of Mechanicsville, MD.

Roy was a Pressmen. His enjoyments were golfing, hunting, crabbing, fishing, and softball.

In addition to his parents, he is also survived by his wife, Rosa "Maggie" Ridgeway, children, Kaily R. Gomez and Edward J. Ridgeway, siblings, Sherilyn and Shawn Ridgeway, all of Mechanicsville, MD, grandparents, Rita H. and Kenneth J. Leggett of Camp Springs, MD and a host of other relatives

A Life Celebration will be held on Thursday, August 18, 2011 from 2-4 & 6-8 p.m. at Brinsfield-Echols Funeral Home, P.A., 30195 Three Notch Rd., Charlotte Hall, MD where Funeral services will be held at 7 p.m. Interment private.
