Howard Jackson "Jack" Moore, 72, of Hughesville, MD, died August 13, 2011 at his home. Born September 29, 1938 in Cass, West Virginia, he was the son of Jess William Moore and Linda Mary Plyler Moore.

Mr. Moore served in the U.S. Air Force and then spent his career in steel fabrication and design.

Jack was predeceased by his parents.

He is survived by his wife, Sharon Ann Moore and children, Alta Pauleen Brewer of Hughesville, MD, Howard J. Moore, Jr. of Hollywood, MD, and Kathy Jean Pennington of West Virginia; brothers, Edward Eugene Moore of Miami, Florida and Harold Douglas Moore of Leavittsburg, Ohio. He is also survived by five grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends for Jack's Life Celebration on Tuesday, August 16, 2011 from 5 - 8:00p.m. at the Brinsfield-Echols Funeral Home, P.A., 30195 Three Notch Rd., Charlotte Hall, MD. A Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, August 17, 2011 at 10:00 a.m. at Brinsfield-Echols. Pastor Keith Corrick will officiate. Interment will follow at Trinity Memorial Gardens, Waldorf, MD.
