Christopher Allen Staley 22 of Newburg, Maryland passed away on Saturday August 6, 2011 in Mechanicsville Maryland. He was born on October 17, 1988 in La Plata, Maryland to Kenny L. Staley, Sr. and Brenda L. Thomas.

He is also survived by his brothers Brian Thomas, Eddie Hughes, Kyle Hughes, sisters Tiffany McDonald and her husband Michael, Jennifer Staley, and Chelsea Hughes, nieces Katelyn, Chasity, Michelle and Amber McDonald.

His brother Kenny L. Staley, Jr predeceases him.

Chris loved the Cobb Island Volunteer Fire Department, singing Karaoke, Baltimore Ravens, riding his bicycle, crabbing and being social, he knew everyone on Cobb Island.

The family will receive friends on Thursday August 11, 2011 at the Cobb Island Volunteer Fire Department from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8pm with Fireman's prayers at 7pm. The funeral service will be held on Friday August 12, 2011 11 am at the Christ Church Wayside Church. Interment to follow in the church cemetery.
