Chernica Arielle "Ce-Ce", 22, of Lexington Park, MD, died in Callaway, MD, August 4, 2011. Born on August 1, 1989 in Jackson, TN, she was the daughter of Pleas Boyland of Whiteville, TN and Yvette Marie Rhodes of Lexington Park, MD.

In addition to her parents Chernica is survived by her brother Darius Rhodes of Whiteville, TN as well as numerous aunts, uncles and close friends.

Chernica attended Central High School, Knoxville, TN graduating in 2007. After graduation she moved to St. Mary's County where she worked as a Dietary Aide at Cedar Lane Apartments for the elderly in Leonardtown, MD. Chernica enjoyed dancing, taking pictures, hanging out with friends and loved her cell phone.

The family will receive friends on Saturday, August 13, 2011 9:00 AM – 10:00 AM in the Mattingley-Gardiner Funeral Home, Leonardtown, MD. A Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, August 13, 2011 at 10:00 AM in the Mattingley-Gardiner Funeral Home Chapel, with Pastor Keith Buck officiating. Interment will follow in Charles Memorial Gardens, Leonardtown, MD. Pallbearers will be; Alex Rhodes, Duaine Johnson, John Somerville, Timothy dove, John Barnes, and Charles Dickerson. Honorary Pallbearers will be; Roland Smith and Ronald Hensly.
