Theodore Morris Proctor, 66, of Fort Washington, Maryland suddenly departed this life for one eternal on Thursday, March 1, 2007 at Georgetown University Hospital.

He was born June 11,1940 in Pomfret, Maryland to the late Morris and the late Agnes Proctor.

Theodore was educated in the Charles County School System. His employment started at the Naval Ordinance Station, Indian Head, Maryland and later for the Department of the Army at the Pentagon Motor Pool in Arlington, Virginia and as a Security Officer in Crystal City, Virginia.

On February 11, 1961 he was joined in marriage to Dorothy Louise Proctor and they shared 46 lovely years together. From their union seven wonderful children were born. Marilynn Savoy, Patricia Proctor (Patty), Annette Swann (Annie), Janice Proctor (Baby Girl), Theodore Proctor (Reggie), Marvin Proctor, Brian Proctor (Baby Boy).

Theodore enjoyed playing checkers with his wife and spending time with family.

In addition to his wife and children, he is survived by four sons-in-law, Alan Savoy, Thomas Proctor Jr., Anthony Swann and Thomas Proctor III; three daughters-in- law, Patricia Proctor (Trish), Vershetta Proctor and Jacquelyn Proctor; five sisters, Shirley Proctor, Barbara Proctor, Elizabeth Green, Mary Neal and Salome Savoy; five brothers, Jerome, Larry, Vernon, Winfield and Timmy Proctor; eleven grandchildren, Tiffany, Mark, Angela, Tonya, Krystal, Victoria, Maravia, Michael, Katrina, Mauriel and Moriona; one step-grandchild, Dazmine; one great-grandchild Taniyah and a host of other relatives and friends.

In addition to his parents, Theodore was preceded in death by his brothers, Emanuel, Milton and Billy.

His Viewing will be held on Thursday, March 8, 2007 from 9:00 am until Mass of Christian Burial, 11:00 am at St. Ignatius Catholic Church, 2315 Brinkley Road Fort Washington, MD 20744. His Interment will be in Resurrection Cemetery in Clinton, Maryland.
