Shaun Paul Blondin, 27, of Waldorf, MD, died July 13, 2011, at Southern Maryland Hospital, Clinton, MD. Born March 17, 1984, in San Diego, CA, he was the son of Jerome E. Mack, Jr. and Linda L. Blondin Weinelt.

Mr. Blondin was a Private First Class in the United States Army having served in Iraq. He was a food service worker for the past six years with area restaurants.

Predeceased by his paternal grandfather, Howard Weinelt.

Survived by his parents; step-father, Eric Weinelt; brothers, Michael Mack of CA; Nicholas Weinelt of NC; paternal grandmother, Rosie Weinelt of Brandywine, MD; maternal grandparents, Paul and Irene Blondin of FL.

Visitation will be Tuesday, July 19, 2011, 11:30AM to 1:30PM at Raymond Funeral Chapel, 5635 Washington Avenue, La Plata, MD 20646. Funeral Service will be held Tuesday, July 19, 2011, beginning at 1:30PM at Raymond Funeral Chapel. Fr. Tom Gude will officiate. Interment will be at Maryland Veterans Cemetery, Cheltenham, MD.

Honorary Pallbearers will be the U.S. Army Honor Guard.
