Anna R. Callis, 86, of Bradenton, Florida, formerly of Golden Beach and Camp Springs, Maryland, died July 9, 2011.

She was preceded in death by her husband Bob Callis; sister Rita Hillengas; sister Mary Catherine Jackson; daughter Joan Ward; grandson Joey Michaels; and granddaughter Melanie Wahlgren.

Survivors include her brother Buddy and wife Margaret Jennings; brother Jack and wife Julann Jennings; son Tom and wife Jackie Callis; son Warren and wife Barbara Callis; daughter Kathleen Roach; daughter Jeannette and husband Dennis Austin; and son Jack and wife Dianne Callis. She also leaves seven grandchildren and fifteen great grandchildren behind.

Anna was the best Mother, Mother-in-Law, Grandmother and Great Grandmother ever. She will be sorely missed as Matriarch of the family with her great courage, generosity and abundant love for everyone.

Arrangements by Toale Brothers Funeral Home and Brinsfield-Echols Funeral Home in Charlotte Hall, Maryland for the funeral to be held in Maryland. Viewing will be Wednesday, July 13, at 6-8 pm. The Funeral will be held at the funeral home at 10 am July 14th with interment at Resurrection Cemetery in Clinton, Maryland.
