Teresa Ann "Terri" Bakhtiary, 56, of Waldorf, MD died July 5, 2011 at Civista Medical Center, LaPlata, MD. Born January 15, 1955 in Chester, PA, she was the daughter of the late Frank Jacob Dujmic and Mary Margaret McMonegal Dujmic.

Terri worked for Southern Maryland Hospital Center as a Nursing Home Coordinator. She enjoyed her job and loved working with her colleagues. Her favorite pastimes included crafts, especially knitting and crocheting. She loved her pets, family vacations at the shore, and spoiling her granddaughter.

Terri is survived by her husband , Homer M. Bakhtiary; daughters, Sarah and Kathy Bakhtiary; brother, Francis J. Dujmic; brother-in-law, Gholam H. Bakhtiary; and her granddaughter, Kyra Azadeh LaRose.

The family will receive friends on Sunday, July 10, 2011 for Terri's Life Celebration from 6 - 8:00 p.m. at the Brinsfield-Echols Funeral Home, P.A., 30195 Three Notch Rd., Charlotte Hall, MD. A Funeral Service conducted by Celebrant Kimberly McKnight will be held on Monday, July 11, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. at Brinsfield-Echols. Interment will follow at Queen of Peace Cemetery, Helen, MD.
