![]() Richard "Ricky" Allen Buckler, 45 of Mechanicsville, MD, died on July 2, 2011 at St. Mary's Hospital, Leonardtown, MD. Born on May 7, 1966 in Leonardtown, MD, he was the son of Margaret Ann Bowles Buckler and the late Jay B. Buckler.
He was a Maintenance Mechanic for Architect of the Capital. Prior he farmed tobacco and did masonry work. His enjoyments were NASCAR; favorite driver was Jimmy Johnson after Dale Earnhardt died, crabbing on a trot line, farming, playing pitch, country music, dancing and having a good time. He loved listening to George Jones and Elvis. Ricky was always the life of the party. In addition to his mother, he is survived by his wife, Heather Dawn Neal Buckler, son, Joseph Allen Buckler, siblings, Dale L. Buckler, Sr., Melissa L. Quade and husband, Tommy, Mary (Betsy) E. Terrell and husband, Ray, Jay J. Buckler, and Bobbie J. Gass. Nieces and nephews, Candi, Dale, Jr., Shyanne, Jordan, Lisa, Amanda, Hollie, Anthony, Troy, Ryan, Tyler, Jayson, and one very special niece/god daughter Brianna whom he adored and many other relatives and friends. A Life celebration will be held on Thursday, July 7, 2011 from 5-8 p.m. at Brinsfield-Echols Funeral Home, P.A., 30195 Three Notch Rd., Charlotte Hall, MD. Funeral Service will be held on Friday, July 8, 2011 at 10 a.m. at All Faith Episcopal Church, 38885 New Market Turner Rd., Mechanicsville, MD. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. Serving as pallbearers will be: Dale, Sr., Jay J., and Hank W., Jr. Buckler, Francis Montgomery, Gary P. Wood, and Joseph R. Thompson, Sr. Serving as Honorary Pallbearers are Ray M.
