Mrs. Curtis was a Bank Bookkeeper in Washington, DC for 30 plus years and a member of St. Barnabus Episcopal Church in Temple Hills, MD. She worked for 10 years as a Unit Secretary at Southern Maryland Hospital and part-time for Giant Food Store in Hillcrest Heights, MD. She enjoyed reading, cooking, baking, and being with family and grandchildren.

Daughter of the late Horace L. Anderson and the late Maude Gina Tollefsen Anderson.

Predeceased by her parents; her late husband, James Otis Curtis; late daughter, Sandra Krebeck; late sister, Edna Altmann; and one late grandchild, James Aughinbaugh.

Survived by two daughters, Susan (Robert) Aughinbaugh of Marbury, MD and Nancy (Norman) Harnden of Surfside Beach, SC; one brother, Bud Anderson of Queenstown, MD. Also survived by six grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.

Visitation: Wednesday, July 6, 2011 from 2-4PM and 6-8PM at Raymond Funeral Chapel, 5635 Washington Avenue, La Plata, MD 20646.

Funeral Service: Thursday, July 7, 2011 at 11AM at Raymond Funeral Chapel. Clergy: Rev. Mark Roberson Interment: Epiphany Episcopal Church Cemetery, Forestville, MD Pallbearers: Robert Aughinbaugh, Norman Harnden, Kevin Harnden, and George Wilkey.
