Susan Woodruff owned Maryland Select Hardwoods in La Plata, MD. She retired in 2006 after working as a government contractor and facilities manager for 25 years. She loved spending time with family and friends. Susan was a wonderful hostess who always made everyone feel welcome and at home. Her fabulous meals, wit, and spirit will be remembered and missed. Most of all, she was a sounding-board to her children, loving companion to her husband, and loved us all with unconditional love.

Daughter of the late Edward B. Rosser and the late Leah A. Henderson Rosser.

Predeceased by her parents and late brother, Charles Bryan Treakle.

Survived by her husband, Dennis Patrick Woodruff; one son, Kevin E. (Heather) Orme of Houston, TX; one daughter, Michele L. (Thomas Alcorn) Orme of Round Hill, VA; and one sister, LaRetta Henderson of Jacksonville, FL. Also survived by six grandchildren, Liam, Austin, Colin, Caroline, Jada, and Ricky.
