Mr. Ferris was a Self-employed Plumber for more than 40 years with the company he founded. His greatest joy came from entertaining his family with good stories. He was loving, devoted, supportive and extremely proud of his grandchildren. In his early years, he was an avid volunteer with Democratic politics, along with his wife of 51 years, Regina Ferris.

He was son of the late Carl Vincent Ferris, Sr. and the late Evelyn Miles Ferris.

He was predeceased by his parents; and his wife of 51 years, Regina Mae Ferris.

He is survived by his three daughters, Sharon R. (Michael) Tabor of White Plains, MD; Patricia M. Horton of Indian Head, MD; and Colleen A. (Keith) Haddaway of Port Tobacco, MD; one brother, Robert Ferris of McLean, VA; and one sister, Carol Arneson of FL. Also survived by ten grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren.

A Visitation will be held on Saturday, June 25, 2011 from 9am until time of Mass of Christian Burial at 11am at St. Mary's Star of the Sea Catholic Church, 30 Mattingly Avenue, Indian Head, MD 20640. Interment will follow at St. Charles Cemetery, Glymont, MD. Clergy will be Father Thomas Gude.
